Her Imagination Has No Boundaries

Sarah. 18. Chicago.
"She wasn't afraid of difficulties; What frightened her was being forced to choose one particular path.
Choosing a path meant having to miss out on others. She had a whole life to live, and she was always thinking that, in the future, she might regret the choices she made now.
"I'm afraid of committing myself," she thought to herself. She wanted to follow all possible paths, and so ended up following none."

but you crawl out of bed
you get dressed
you go to school or work or both
you smile and talk
you forget
and eventually
you don’t cry anymore
because you forget about those feelings
the heartbreak, the pain, the loneliness
and you move the fuck on
I cried because

but at least I had it

In the fall, she was leaves.
She turned beautiful shades,
but began to wither.
The winter turned her into a tree.
She grew weak,
she began to fall apart.
Spring transformed her into a bush of berries.
She grew sweetly,
with certain exceptions.
But now, she was a peach.
Coming to life in the summer,
ripening beautifully.
She was a girl who came to life
and lost it but never ceased to exist.
She changed along with the seasons of the year.
